Following a single Grand Prix in August \u2013 the Dutch Grand Prix \u2013 Formula 1 returned to its usual schedule with the Pirelli Italian Grand Prix<\/strong>, which took place on 6 September and marked the return of the championship to its annual calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally known as the European Grand Prix, the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix was renamed the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in 2017. Since 2016, the Baku street circuit has been part of the F1 World Championship, and its route, just over six kilometers long, passes through some of the city\u2019s most iconic landmarks<\/strong>, such as Azadliq Square and the Maiden Tower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
