The eagerly awaited annual Cuban mini cigars dinner, held during the week of the Habano Festival, was marked this year by the great surprise of the presentation of the new Trinidad Wide Short.
It is already one of the most eagerly awaited of the events organised during the week of the Habano Festival. The Cuban mini cigars evening, dedicated to international distributors of Cuban mini cigars and organised by Promocigar (Promotora de Cigarros S.L.) and ICT (Internacional Cubana de Tabacos, S.A.), respectively marketer and manufacturer, brought together more than 350 guests from all over the world at the Estación Cultural de Línea, a building with an industrial aesthetic and a long history behind it: originally a tramway station in the 19th century, then a bus factory and later a bicycle factory, it was recently renovated and converted into a cultural space.
After the welcome cocktail, with a harlequin parade and live music by the group A Granel, it was time to unveil the big surprise of the night: the presentation of the new Trinidad Wide Short.
Following the successful launch of Cohiba’ s new Wide Short format, the Cuban mini cigars reaffirm their commitment to innovation with another of their most emblematic brands, Trinidad. Trinidad Wide Short is a product born from the essence of the Trinidad brand, summed up in its three T’s: Tribute to a culture, an art and a city; the Tradition of the best tobacco in the world; the Trend of a stylish and innovative brand. And Wide Short is a successful format – as its Cohiba counterpart has already proven – longer and with a slightly thicker wrapper (100 mm x 12.5 mm) than the Short format, and is designed to appeal to new aficionados.

And while the guests tasted the world premiere of the new Trinidad Wide Short, an exquisite dinner began, accompanied by performances by the voices of the Habana Voice, the artist María Victoria Rodríguez and a modern show of young Cuban dancers
Another of the most eagerly awaited moments was the traditional presentation of awards to distributors, which this year went to CT-INC, distributor in Hong Kong; Baqer Mohebi, from the United Arab Emirates; and Tabak Invest, from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
And with the awards presented and the euphoria at its peak, the final concert began, with the charismatic Laritza Bacallao leading her band and Havana Club rums as the perfect accompaniment to Trinidad Wide Short. An unbeatable end to a Cuban mini cigars night full of surprises and good times to remember.
