This August, we traveled to Havana, home of the Cuban mini cigars factory and the perfect holiday destination

It is an all-terrain city: rich in history, culture, beauty and… Cuban mini cigars. Its cobblestone streets, colorful colonial buildings and the joy of its people are unmistakable signs of Havana, the capital of Cuba. This city is a destination that does not go unnoticed, especially if you are a fan of Cuban cigarillos.

Our first stop is the Malecon, one of the most famous and photographed promenades in the world. Here you can enjoy incredible views of the Caribbean Sea while lighting up a Cohiba Mini, unique and exclusive such as this place.

We continue our walk-through Old Havana, a place full of narrow stone streets, where you will feel the origin of the most traditional Cuba. This historic part of the capital preserves a unique colonial architecture. While admiring the impressive facade of the Havana Cathedral and the Plaza de Armas you can light up a Punch Mini, which is distinguished by its rich and strong flavour and treasures all the Cuban essence.

We stop at the Capitol: an imposing building inspired by the Capitol in Washington D.C., it is a neoclassical architecture that you must visit at least once in your life. Admire its imponent dome and observe the beautiful surroundings while lighting up a Partagas Club.

Time to taste a ropa vieja or a yuca con mojo, indispensable dishes of Cuban gastronomy. Pair them with a refreshing and digestive Cuban mojito and let yourself be carried away by the aroma of a Montecristo Open Mini for dessert.

Havana is also home to the Cuban mini cigars factory, International Cubana de Tabacos, S.A., a place where tradition and innovation come together to make mini cigarillos, made with an important part of the Cuban essence: black tobacco. And the fact is that, to make each mini, excellent quality raw materials from the best growing areas of the island are needed. Enjoy the captivating aromas of tobacco leaves and take a little piece of Cuba with you.
